"Last Saturday, I met with Yury Luzhkov. We had a two-hour-long conversation during which we discussed plans for summer," Prokhorov said, according to Interfax. The billionaire added that the meeting had given him high hopes for fruitful cooperation with Luzhkov, who was mayor from 1992 to 2010, when he was fired by then-President Dmitry Medvedev for “lack of confidence” in his abilities.
