Stephen McDaniel (born in 1989) is an infamous criminal from Lilburn, Georgia. He accused of the murder of Lauren Giddings (Mercer Law School student). The incident took place in Macon on June 26, 2011. McDaniel was a student at the Mercer College of Law before convicting the crime. He is best known as Lauren Giddings’ murderer.

His crime story began with wanting to date Lauren Giddings. He wanted to make her girlfriend as he was in love with her. But his dreams shattered when she refused to go on a date with him as Lauren was in a relationship with her boyfriend “David Vandiver”.
